Forever Learning

Its all about books around here today, quite literally the WWIII of books.

I collected from the library a book request composed of the first 3 books in the Bleach series, a much wanted graphic novel apparently.

And collected an order from the Variety Book Room our favourite book store. There I had waiting for collection the first 4 books of the Obernewtyn Chronicles by Isobelle Carmody $80 or so well spent.

While delivered straight to my door was, Touched with Fire by Kay Redfield Jamison.

I managed to sneak touched with fire inside to my room without them noticing. Beautiful isnt it, I am really looking forward to diving in. It was recommended by her psychiatrist he also recommended The unquiet mind which I have been listening to on audiobook.

They even included a book mark! Just my style. Her psychiatrist believes this book will explain without doubt why none of my art supplies have ever been safe around the little super hero.

Meanwhile I was not so lucky smuggling the small mountain of young adult books and graphic novels into the house. I have had to pry them out of hands, explain what sharing is, and extract them from bedrooms as Jac has taken to stashing her favourites (even if they aren’t actually hers) in her bedroom, her reason being apparently she takes better care of them than her sisters with the stash including the complete works of Roald Dahl and the entire series of Maximum Ride Graphic Novels.

Even Jamie is astounded at the impact new books have in this house!
Pure Chaos!

Jac of course is still bouncing though life throwing Jenga blocks and causing havoc but we still love her!
