Following on from Hypergraphia we all started to get a little worried, her “cope with shit” button was becoming firmly stuck in the off position and symptoms were rapidly becoming more prominent…..

as the rest of us were watching, preparing another med review; she took matters into her own hand and using the instructions already left with the pharmacy, by myself and her psychiatrist, she of her own volition and without prompting or supervision approached her pharmacist to begin increasing the dose of her sedative by one tablet each week….to be increased again the following week….

and like that she is back on track….

I’m all choked up, my little girl is managing her illness, with a team of support behind her…..but she has this bronco by the reigns…..
